Dear New Standards Task Force, I hope you are all well! A moment ago I blogged about materials for Community Groups that are now publicly available for feedback: http://www.w3.org/QA/2011/04/coming_soon_w3c_community_grou.html The materials include a detailed process description derived from the original proposal: http://www.w3.org/2010/12/community/ A summary: http://www.w3.org/2010/12/community/summary And two participation agreements (a contributor agreement, then a final specification agreement): http://www.w3.org/2010/12/community/cla http://www.w3.org/2010/12/community/final I welcome your feedback. I have also send the materials to the Advisory Committee. Our current plan is to launch in May. We are still working on building the infrastructure to support the new groups.
