Screen Orientation Vocabulary

OMA had its F2F in Vancouver last week. We basically resolved the vocabulary for screen orientation. This work was done with representatives from W3C (Rhys Lewis) and 3GPP (Suresh Chitturi, Ed Hall) present. The vocabulary proposed is constrained by the requirement to meet existing agreements made in MPEG and 3GPP. The liaison to 3GPP with the detailed proposal is at

Note that there is vocabulary for both RME (OMA) and DIMS (3GPP), and that the vocabulary is also consistent with the ECMAScript interface described in the RME Technical Specification, section 9.2.
