DOM provides the Attribute interface that potentially has some capabilities that could be used in DCCI.

This issue is being raised to track this suggestion.

The idea of doing this was initially raised by Sailesh in http://lists.w3..org/Archives/Member/w3c-di-wg/2007Apr/0007.html in items 3 and 4.
