Continuing on this... Step 1 - identify tuners Step 2 - for each tuner, scanning frequencies and identify sources/Multiplexes Step 3 - Identify channels/services Step 4 - Identify programs/events Step 5 - select and play mediaStreams Q1 - should the information from step 1,2 and 3 be also available from the TV setup? Q2 - we need to clarify media streams. I think I have read somewhere that a stream might be interpreted as a stream when tuning on a frequency. However, better reserve stream to audio video and other streams needed for rendering via the <video> or <audio> attributes.
