Francois,

Great suggestion. I fully support it.

Thank you

Subject: [Draft WG charter] Give some leeway to group API functions as needed?

Hi again,

Right now, the draft WG charter mentions the TV Control API as sole deliverable of the group. I would like to propose to add a sentence to the "Deliverables" section that says:
"The working group may decide to group the API functions in one or more specifications".

The goal would be to leave freedom to the Working Group to prioritize features if needed, and organize them into different specs that may possibly progress on the Recommendation track at different speeds, thus ensuring that the features that the group feels have higher priority do not get blocked by lower priority features. The Second Screen Working Group has the same sentence in its charter and that proved useful as the presentation of media on remote screens is now done in a separate spec, which allowed the group to give priority to the presentation of Web content to start with.

What about it?

Thanks,
Francois.
