aphillips has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/ttml2: == Can <named-item> altText have xml:lang? == https://w3c.github.io/ttml2/spec/ttml2.html#metadata-value-named-item The `<named-item>` construct has an attribute `altText` intended to provide descriptive text primarily for images (similar to `alt` in HTML).
