Re: WebVTT accessibility review

Hi

thanks to all for moving on this. We have helpful comments from CSS and i18n internally, and from MPEG and an EBU rep. externally. Quite a bit of VTT was developed in direct response to FCC requirements as well as the internal work, and there was quite a bit of dialog during development.

The other reviews have thrown up some places where the spec. could be clearer, and you should be aware that we’re working hard on the major identified missing feature (being able to put CSS style sheets into the front of the actual VTT file).

John knows the editors and major movers and shakers, I know, and I am sure he’ll contact them if he has questions, and of course I stand ready to help as well.

Thanks everyone.

cheers

I know that John was unavailable recently during a job transition, but recently taking this up again.
