Updated proposal to close Issue-191 and Action-120 (for SDP-US only) Based on the TTWG discussion Oct 18 (http://www.w3.org/2012/10/18-tt-minutes.html), we recommend these updates. The requirements target the presentation processor. This should allay concerns about character edge attributes (comment from editor). Change from: The user must be able to specify the rendering of character edge types of: none, raised, depressed, uniform or drop shadowed edges. Change to: The user should be able to specify the rendering of character edge types of: none, raised, depressed, uniform or drop shadowed edges. Add a note below the requirement that states: This requirement targets the capabilities of a presentation processor. Add under Future Needs section: Additional character edge features for raised, depressed, and drop shadowed edges are suggested for consideration in a future version of TTML. For TTML v.next, Issue-193 has been opened (http://www.w3.org/AudioVideo/TT/tracker/issues/193). Thanks Monica Monica J Martin Senior Program Manager Microsoft Open Technologies, Inc.
