since the TT[Profile,Feature,Extension} namespaces are used as base URIs for absolutizing relative profile, feature, and extension designators, it is necessary that the value of the namespace URI adhere to a base URI; however, at present, none of these URIs contain a trailing '/', which effectively causes the final {profile,feature,extension} path component to be dropped during standard URI absolutization processing;
