moving on

Dear colleagues,

a piece of personal news: This October, I'll leave W3C to take up a position at Google, working on privacy there. I'm currently working with Jeff Jaffe, W3C CEO, on transition plans for the responsibilities in my W3C job, including the oversight over the Tracking Protection Working Group.

Within the Working Group, Nick Doty, Wendy Seltzer and Rigo Wenning will continue to provide W3C staff coverage as I'll start to wind down my participation.

If there are any concerns or questions related to this transition, all of us (including Jeff) are available.

Joining Google is an exciting new opportunity. At the same time, I'll miss the fun and challenging work that W3C gave me a chance to be part of.

Regards,

Thomas Roessler, W3C <tlr@w3.org> (@roessler)
