Re: [touch-events] Why don't Touch objects have offsetX and offsetY properties like MouseEvent does?

The elephant in the room is Apple. They are not involved in this group
 (and there was some history of them trying to oppose the Touch Events
 Level 1 spec on IPR reasons), and even if all other parties involved 
agree that it's a good decision to add `offsetX` and `offsetY` and all
 other niceties from traditional mouse events, the likelihood of Apple
 adding anything from here to the behavior of Safari would be low / 
purely coincidental...and then you'd have two separate behaviors in 
the wild: what Chrome/Firefox/Edge/etc do, and what Safari/iOS does...
