Re: Introductions

Welcome Jacob and Asir! I'm thrilled that we can extend our productive
relationship from the pointer events WG into this CG as well!

I'm sorry I haven't been active recently in driving the pointer/touch
interoperability discussions. Once we've shipped touch-action in Chromium
(targeting Chrome 35), I hope to use an extension to host the polymer
pointer events polyfill and start testing site compatibility in the
presence of both touch and pointer events. Even better, we should have
some concrete data on this front from Mozilla soon too. Then I think it'll
be much easier to make progress with concrete compatibility data and
real-world test cases. In the interim I have some initial thoughts her [1]
- I appreciate any comments (either in the doc or on this list).

I'm looking forward to hearing whatever data you can share from your
investigations at Microsoft. From our previous discussions, I suspect that
you've still done more research in this space than any of us who are
actually supporting touch events.

Rick
