For the moment, I am working with Ian H. to get us a starting text.  I had hoped to have it by now, but it's a little more work than anticipated.

I'll send out some ideas about how we can proceed in a separate email, but in general, I am hoping for an effective and professional conversation (a) in email, (b) in bugs, issues, and action items.

There are a number of deliverables in the scope document that Silvia initially posted.  I'd really like to encourage people to look at that, and indicate what parts they'd like to work on;  specifically, we'll need people to volunteer to edit some of the documents, and it'll be good to see who has energy to spend on what.

Welcome on board, everyone!  Please scan the member list and encourage others to notice this group and join it!
