The Application Lifecycle and Events spec has been updated: http://www.w3.org/2012/sysapps/app-lifecycle/ Here's a high-level summary of the changes: - build atop Service Worker - integrate with Task Scheduler - address many open issues raised at the F2F Rough around the edges, but hopefully more aligned with the group's current thinking. The most useful discussion to have at this point is probably still around making sure the use cases are reasonable and make sense. The normative parts of the spec need a lot more work and experimentation. In the grand scheme of things, should figure out whether [some of] the features should land in to the Service Worker proper at some point. Thanks, -Anssi
