OWL-S: matching multiple inputs with one input representing the same thing

Hello all,

I was wondering if it is possible to match multiple inputs with one input
that represents the same concept.

For example, suppose a service requires as an input a foaf:Person. Another
service requires a foaf:firstName, a foaf:sumame and a foaf:mbox. These
concepts represent the same thing, namely a certain person. Could matching
fail here?

How do you specify to "break-up" a certain person in these three properties,
and assemble them again?
