The Knowledge Management department of Siemens Corporate Research has an immediate opening for an experienced Research Scientist / Engineer/ Consultant starting January 2006 or earlier.

The Knowledge Management (KM) department within SCR provides technology and consulting as well as necessary infrastructure for KM-related projects to Siemens businesses. SCR KM has developed leading edge knowledge representation, knowledge exchange, content management, and business process analysis
and optimization tools as well as strategy development and enterprise architecture planning methodologies, while embracing the best industry practices today.

This position is an exciting opportunity to participate in knowledge & process management related projects. The responsibilities include 
- execution of projects with Siemens business units 
- contribution to internal research projects
- development / refinement of methodologies in the field 
- integration of tools (3rd party products or self developed) into enterprise platforms such as SAP NetWeaverTM, Microsoft BizTalkTM Server, etc.
