Validation service for HTTP response codes?

Dear all,

I would like to pass on a suggestion by Mikael Nilsson.

Noting the utility of W3C validation services for CSS,
markup, RDF, and the like, he points out that it could be
quite straightforward -- and very useful -- to offer such
a Web form for viewing HTTP response codes in light of the
Recipes note [1] and the TAG interpretation of codes [2].
Perhaps the validator could follow links two or three levels
deep, providing for each link the natural-language "inference"
listed in [3].

(I cite the May 2007 version [3] because the link [4] provided
for HTTPRANGE14 in Recipes [5] and as the Latest Version URI
[6] seems to be broken!)
