More importantly, the proposal I've made is not quite there yet :)

Elias's code is actually quite far along, but we haven't spec'ed the  
default XHTML hGRDDL, so I take full responsibility for this gap

I do have strong hope that hGRDDL will help the various metadata- 
embedding communities bridge many of the differences between the  
various schemes (and I'm open other names than hGRDDL, btw, if you or  
others feel that it doesn't fit.)
