QCRs (goal: revise and gather reviewers) 4: Time (goal: first editors draft, gather reviewers ) 5: Semantic Integration (goal: first editors draft, gather reviewers) 6: Units&Measures (goal: start work) 7: Space (goal: start work) Liason ------------------ SKOS has asked for some interaction with OEP. Since OEP is publishing ontologies, it would be good to connect with VM to ensure we are on the same page. Outcome by end of WG ------------------------------------------ I expect that by the end of the WG we will have 2-4 of the above notes published as notes. Given the long review cycles we have been experiencing, we will clearly need to extend the TF to finish all 7. Future --------------- OEP has a lot of work to do. I have received a lot of positive feedback on our existing notes, and heard from numerous people who have found them helpful. Every time I give a talk a handful of people will come up after and mention it, and then ask if we plan to publish a note about ... OEP work needs to continue past March. Certainly to finish the work we've already started and get the notes published. But there is a lot more work to be done. The work has been proceeding slowly but it has been proceeding. As Guus I'm sure knows, however, the TF absolutely requires someone in a position to constantly push the work forward. I have been serving this role, but it is clear that when I don't have time to devote to it, the work slows or stops completely. Dr. Christopher A.
