As agreed at the telecon, here is a draft of the simple part-of pattern 
for individuals --- I've put it as pattern 0 for the moment, as I 
wasn't sure where you wanted to put it in the document. I do think, 
however, that it makes sense to have it as the first pattern: for those 
people who really need a very simple answer, having to read through all 
the much more complex stuff to get to it seems like a hindrance.

I am attaching the whole document -- seemed easier to do it this way, 
but the only change I've made was this additional pattern. My comments 
on the rest of the document still stand.
