rdf intros/tutorials for new users

there is a book called rapid application with mozilla by nigel mcfarlane 
(amazon link - http://tinyurl.com/4j2bz).

it has a couple of chapters (chapter 11 in particular) on rdf pitched at 
the introductory level, some of it is of course specific to mozilla but 
much is not.

it made one particular point clear to me, a critical point i had avoided 
understanding in other literature i had read on rdf. "rdf is an explicit 
fact writing system" 'pp363-rad with mozilla'
