Canvas API Spec and SVG

Hi, Folks-

There has been a lot of talk in the HTML WG about splitting out the 
Canvas API into its own spec, but nobody stepped up to do so.  Since I 
know we are interested in using the Canvas API functionality in SVG (and 
since I'm already all too familiar with putting stuff into spec form), I 
bit the bullet and spent a few hours late on Sunday night splitting it 
out. [1][2]

It would be useful to get some feedback from the SVG WG about this.
