Agenda request, SVG Color (and specifically device color).

Hello,

I'd like to request an agenda slot to discuss SVG Color. Please add this to the agenda at a time Anthony could dial in, and I would very much like him to be there for the discussions.

Topics would be the disposition of comments (from the SVG Print last call), the syntax appendix, a general review of changes, and a specific discussion on device-color.

The stuff in SVG Print was hopelessly hand-wavy, involving secret URIs and multi-namespace undefined extension elements. We had already decided to simplify this and I had put together a replacement for the device-color element to do this. However, recent developments in the css wg (last week) mean that we need an even simpler solution, which does not indirect through any xml elements and can be expressed in a single property value.

I have been thinking about this over the weekend, and have a proposal which is very simple, could well be adopted by CSS as well, is much easier for authoring tools and much more interoperable. But its a substantial change and while covering the major use cases, is a little underspecified for complex separation sets. I think its an overall win though and also aligns better to other industry standards.
