Re: SVG Tiny 1.2 Test Suite Reference Image Summary

Hi Anthony!

I am almost done fixing the incorrect and error files you listed. Feel free to send more files to me - either already verified that they are wrong, or give me a bunch to check and fix if needed. I'm reserving a couple hours each Sunday and Monday to work on these.

Regards,
Andrew

Hey Anthony,

This is great stuff!

I can do all of the above for the files found so far if you want to focus on going through the 'success' files to ensure they are correct.

Take care,
Andrew

Subject: SVG Tiny 1.2 Test Suite Reference Image Summary

Hi WG of Awesomeness,

As per our discussion in last nights telephone conference I have prepared a
report on the state of SVG Tiny 1.2 Test Suite reference images.

Overall Summary
---------------
  - Number of PNG patches: 227
  - Number of SVG tests: 229 (test files rendered by Batik to produce a reference)
  - Number of SVG patches: 48

Where we need to focus is on the SVG patches and SVG Test Files rendered by
Batik. Attached to this email two log files: image-source-svg-test.log and
image-source-svg-patch.log.

image-source-svg-test.log - Contains the results of the SVG test files rendered
by Batik.

image-source-svg-patch.log - Contains the results of the SVG patch files
rendered by Batik.

SVG Test File Summary
---------------------
Files marked as "success" are files that rendered with Batik returning success.
These files have *not* been checked to see if they are rendered correct. There
are 222 of these files.

Files marked as "INCORRECT" are files that rendered with Batik returning success
but there was a problem during render. These files are incorrectly rendered.
There are 3 of these files.

Files marked as "ERROR" are files that Batik attempted render but returned with
an error. These files are 0 byte files. There are 4 of these files.

SVG Patch File Summary
----------------------
Files marked as "success" are files that rendered with Batik returning success.
These files have *not* been checked to see if they are rendered correct. There
are 43 of these files.

Files marked as "INCORRECT" are files that rendered with Batik returning success
however these files produce an incorrect reference. There are 5 of these files.

I guess the first thing we need to do is fix the references marked as "ERROR"
and "INCORRECT". Then we should try to go through as many files that Batik
renders and returns "success" on to ensure they are correct.

If we need anymore information please let me know.

Thanks,

Anthony
