@litherum `currentColor` get promoted on the [semi-official OpenType-SVG spec](https://www.microsoft.com/typography/otspec/svg.htm). My fear is that we get inconsistent and incompatible with existing content. What is your disapproval based on? Is it based on implementation complexity?
