@dstorey Bikeshed does not support multi-page output. Furthermore, we would need to keep all existing IDs and have the additional IDs from Bikeshed to avoid breakage of existing links with TR/svg2/. This requires additional dummy elements quite often. If we would work on SVG3 right after level 2 it would still make sense but at this point we discuss the split of the spec into smaller modules following the model of CSS2.
