Yes, you're right about the "`<svg>` without `viewBox` or fixed dimensions" - that could be enough hassle to detect to just make it easier to implement as "needs layout" in general. `rx` and `ry` sounds like they could be tricky (you essentially need both `rx`, `ry`, `width` and `height` to be able to get the used value.) -- GitHub Notification of comment by fsoder Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/svgwg/issues/349#issuecomment-335312383 using your GitHub account
