Corporate sponsorships of SVG Open 2009

Hi,

I was just thinking that a number of you represent quite notable companies and that, just maybe, some of those companies would welcome the opportunity to have their names associated with SVG (particularly since this is first time it's been in the US and since Google is hosting the conference this year). http://www.svgopen.org/2009/

For the incredible bargain of anywhere from $750 to $3000, your favorite company can get itself various levels of publicity, and associated entrance registrations (details upon request) through a sponsorship. The last time I tried selling something I was 8 years old. But despite my naïveté about all things commercial, it seems like SVG is a technology that a company would be well-advised , at this point in time, to align itself with, and to do so rather publicly.

So if you know of any CEO's, CTO's or CFO's who are currently looking for a way to re-invent their companies (or themselves for that matter), please pass on the advice that SVG might help in that process. If you would prefer not to approach your own organization for such a thing, but wouldn't mind the SVG Open planning group doing so, I'll be pleased to write them in your stead, if you just pass the contact info along.

Cheers

David
