Hi,

it's very much a hack, but I thought you might be interested in seeing  
this:

   http://typeface.neocracy.org/

Basically it does the same thing as sIFR, but instead of using Flash  
it uses the native browser's vector support. Right now it doesn't use  
SVG in browsers that support it, which seems very silly. If someone  
has time, extending a helping hand to the author might be a good idea  
as this could pimp SVG's visibility, especially if we can make output  
that's better and more usable than sIFR (which is a bit of a pain to  
use).
