Subject: [WebAIM] Request for comments on "Best practices for accessible
diagram design" (draft)
Date: Mon, 27 Jul 2015 12:33:59 -0400

Hi everyone,

I have been drafting a chapter on the accessibility of diagrams for a
forthcoming book by Clive Richards (working title "Diagrammatics") that
has various other chapters on different "mainstream" aspects of diagram
design.

I could think of no better way of vetting my draft than posting a link to
this forum:
http://www.incobs.de/articles/items/diagram-a11y.html

I have organised the best practices into three parts:

- requirements of low vision users
- requriements of blind users
- requiremenhts of people with cognitive and learning disabilities

For each o these groups, I have compiled a design checklist to address the
requirements.

You would do me a great favour if you could look at the draft and comment
(here, or in the comments section below the draft).

Many thanks in advance!
Detlev Fischer
