Navigation (rest of meeting)

All,

While we discuss navigation and everything else, I am wondering how it will
marry up with marked up SVG and really work. So I used the basic taxonomy
we talked about earlier to mark up some SVG. My sample markup consists of
roles (from the taxonomy + a few more, including none), desc and titles
added.

I have a JS script that creates a SVG tree from a SVG file. Visually, the
tree lets you see the organization of the SVG, see the markup and has
tooltips. I find the view useful when marking up SVG as I can see which
parts are not yet done, and I find it helps me see how I as an author would
use markup. Since the tool creates SVG, I find it a good visual tool. And
when we discuss markup, I think looking at the organization and markup will
be useful for the group, however, since SVG isn't readable at any level of
detail by current screen readers how can I make the tree usable for blind
task force members?

Here is a half scale screen shot of the SVG tree for the marked up
histogram.svg. If you hover over a node it will show either the properties
or content of the node. Hovering over a title node shows the title's text.
The letters above a node are the roles - hovering over the role symbol
(letter) shows the role name.
