Hi all, I’m Ruben, an independent academic working on Solid. I’m a professor at Ghent University – imec (Belgium) and a research affiliate at the Decentralized Information Group at MIT. I act as a technology advocate for Solid and Inrupt, but I do not have an employment relationship with Inrupt. So everything I say and do is by default just me :-) I have been working with the technologies behind Solid (Linked Data, RDF, SPARQL, etc.) for several years, and I know the Solid technology stack quite well. I have been working closely with Tim on Solid since 2017. My main focus these days is on making the Solid ecosystem accessible to any Web developer.
