social-ISSUE-41: PubSubHubbub license clarification requires contacting current editor Julien [Federation] http://www.w3.org/Social/track/issues/41 Raised by: Tantek Çelik On product: Federation Previous actions attempted to determine the licensing situation for PubSubHubbub (one of the candidates for Social Web WG Federation). http://www.w3.org/Social/track/actions/6 http://www.w3.org/Social/track/actions/12 Unfortunately it appears there may have been a miscommunication in the conclusions of those actions. The current editor of PubSubHubbub 0.4 is Julien Genestoux (not Brad Fitzpatrick as implied Action 12). http://indiewebcamp.com/irc/2015-05-19#t1432053170421 Thus to clarify the PuSH license for potential referencing and re-use in W3C specifications, we need to have a W3C contact reach out to Julien directly and hopefully resolve the license situation so we can consider PuSH in the Social Web WG (many folks want to). http://pubsubhubbub.github.io/PubSubHubbub/pubsubhubbub-core-0.4.html
