30 April meeting, summary, next steps, and next call

For those that missed today's call (either due to IIW, vacation in
Europe, or other conflicts), here is a summary of the main points.

1. We continued to slog through our focus areas of the past few weeks:
block diagrams, scenarios, narratives, workshops.

2. Motivated by Blaine Cook's refactoring of the block diagram, we
discussed the role that block diagrams can play in clarifying technical
architecture. A prose summary (and interpretation) of that discussion
can be found in a separate email I just sent to the list.

3. Next call is 7 May, same time (10 AM ET). This is the final call
prior to the AC meeting.

4. AC session. We have a one hour breakout session. Tentative agenda:

  * Jeff: Intro
  * Ann: Block diagrams, scenarios, narratives
  * (somewhere in here, a discussion of basis sets)
  * Harry: Standardization opportunities
  * Steve: Workshop possibilities
  * all: discussion
