ISSUE-17 (References to RFC 3987): References to RFC 3987 are incorrect, not consistent with expected use [SOAP-JMS Binding specification]

http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/soapjms/tracker/issues/17

Raised by: Eric Johnson
On product: SOAP-JMS Binding specification

Description:

The specification now uses URIs, but RFC 3987 is the reference to IRIs.

This is confusing, at best.

Further, the references do not appear next to the first mention of URI.

Proposal:

In section 1.1, change third bullet from:
How SOAP over JMS uses the URI specification for JMS endpoints [URI
Scheme for JMS].

to

How SOAP over JMS uses the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) [IETF RFC
3968] specification for JMS endpoints [URI Scheme for JMS].

Section 2.2.4:
Remove reference to IETF RFC 3987

Section 3.4.5:
Remove reference to IETF RFC 3987

Section A:
Replace "Internationalized Resource Identifiers (IRIs) , M. Duerst and
M. Suignard, Authors. Internet Engineering Task Force, January 2005.
Available at http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3987.txt. "

with

"Uniform Resource Identifier (URI): Generic Syntax, T. Berners-Lee, R.
Fielding, L. Masinter. January 2005. Available at
http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3986.txt"
