           Summary: Consider using xml:base
           Product: SML
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Interchange Format
        AssignedTo: cmsmcq@w3.org
        ReportedBy: sandygao@ca.ibm.com
         QAContact: public-sml@w3.org

The interchange format currently defines a <baseURI>, which is used to resolve
relative URIs in the IF document.

xml:base attribute was introduced for the same/similar purpose. SML should
consider whether it's possible to use xml:base.
