Subject: Thoughts about "simplified monitoring" in the context of the EU
Accessibility Directive
To: WCAG group <w3c-wai-gl@w3.org>

Those of you who are interested in the methods for monitoring the
implementation of the EU Directive on the accessibility of public sector
websites and apps by EU Member States might want to check out blog entry
I have published yesterday:

https://team-usability.de/en/teamu-blog-post/simplified-monitoring.html

It argues against the view that simplified montioring might be carried
out by automatic teststing only, and suggests an inclusive approach that
includes people with disabilities at the core of the monitoring process.

Comments would be very welcome!
