Researcher survey update

Hi all

Here’s a quick update on the survey.

As of this morning, there have been 22 responses to the researcher survey. We only have a couple of people on our list who haven’t responded.

A brief summary of responses:
* 19 respondents have previously published work related to the effectiveness of accessibility guidelines
* 11 have research data that might be relevant to Silver
* 18 have plans to publish research findings in 2017
* 17 are willing to use Silver research questions/activities as a basis for student projects
* We have strong interest for all user research activities (stakeholder surveys, interviews, self-reporting on WCAG use, plus other specific suggested activities) and background research activities

This week, I’ll spend some more time reviewing responses and proposing next steps, which we can discuss on Friday’s call (which I’ll make time to attend).

Dave
