OSCAR is a Canadian developed, open-source, certified EMR with full
capabilities in e-prescribing, charting, lab, integrations, and more. The
core development team is looking to leverage research projects, and other
collaborative, open source solutions to provide better care to patients. We
are currently interested in exploring 2 main areas including better
semantic coding from natural language, and clinical decision support.
Marc Dumontier - Core OSCAR Developer. Current areas of interest are
Diabetes, CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) and Antenatal care.
Jay Gallagher - Lead OSCAR Developer.
