Conor, I have worked with MUMPS/Cache based EHR where the local data dictio=
naries were duplicates of controlled vocabularies/ Ontology. This way mappi=
ng, updating and maintaining is much easier. I worked on ways to tag (annot=
ate) the data end users capture (MD/RN) to these data dictionaries, at the =
time of data entry itself. This way we could capture research required data=
 discretely and reduce the dependency on natural language processing to a c=
ertain extent.=20
