Dear HCLSIG folks, Chime, Scott and I are very excited to be co-chairing the new HCLSIG from June 1, and working closely with you all over the next three years. We'd like to start off by giving a big thank you to Eric and Tonya for having chaired the first HCLSIG, and for having got such a great group of people involved. We are going to be hosting an initial kickoff call between 11am and 12.30pm ET on June 12, where we will introduce the group, describe the benefits of joining, summarize the new charter [1], highlight our thoughts for interesting projects, and share details about the first F2F. More details about the call will be following shortly. As we ramp up the new group and select new tasks, existing HCLS activities will continue as is. For example, the wonderful work that Vipul and others are doing with the Clinical Observations Interoperability task will continue. This is an excellent time for people to join the HCLSIG, so please encourage new folks to participate. We encourage all of you who have been engaged in the past to come and share your interests and priorities.
