I hadn't counted on early closing on the 22nd so nothing went out
before XMass. Since then, I've typed a lot and drawn a lot of pictures
in
  http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/hcls/notes/kb/
Note especially the narration near
  http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/hcls/notes/kb/#triplesPicture
and
  http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/hcls/notes/kb/#senselabPicture
disclaimers:
  • both pictures require SVG, Css, and a verrry wide screen to make
    sense. arrangement suggestions welcome.
  • senselabPicture not pretty or well-layed-out yet.
  • haven't composed an aggregate picture. is it worth it?

I've left some @@s around questions I have about why we have the
model we have. Alan, do you have time to take a look and geek with
me a bit?
