Are any participants of the HCLS (or at least someone who is reading this mailing list) in connection with the Encyclopedia of Life project [1, 2]? The announcement of this ambitious project in the last month had international press coverage -- and it seems that Semantic Web technologies will play a part in it [3]. It would be great if the HCLS could interact with (and maybe guide) the Encyclopedia of Life project and their Semantic Web developments.
