I've made some significant revisions to the POMR ontology and moved it
from the ESW wiki to a permanent human/machine readable namespace URL:
http://purl.org/cpr/0.5#
The URL is an XHTML document (generated from the source OWL document)
describing the ontology (using 'full' Manchester OWL Syntax, linkable Class/Property hierarchies, and other visual aids) which
can be processed by a GRDDL-aware agent to extract the actual OWL/RDF
graph itself. The following is an overview of the major modifications:
- Better alignment with OBI/OBO (use of OBI annotative terms and OBO 'core' relation ontololgy)
- Movement *away* from FOAF (for modeling people) and *towards* GALEN (which makes good use of social roles to distinguish the various roles played in a clinical environment)
- Improved documentation and inline references to citations
- Reduction to minimal inheritence taxonomy
- Better integration with DOLCE's Plan ontology to support work/task semantics
The above document only includes minimal terms from DOLCE and OBO. A more
comprehensive XHTML (which includes definitions of terms in all the dependent ontologies) is available from:
