Cake".

It's quite a long one. If you have to read only a few, I particularly  
enjoyed some of the posts by Pat Hayes, Kathryn Laskey, and Leo  
Obrst,  and responses, but there a number of other quite good posts  
with useful pointers.
Fabian Neuhaus has an amusing one about "semantics".
