mfoltzgoogle has just submitted a new pull request for https://github.com/w3c/remote-playback: == Adds note regarding remote playback device capabilities. == This partially addresses Issue #41: [Meta] Guidance for HTMLMediaElement, HTMLAudioElement, HTMLVideoElement behaviors during remoting. Instead of using "fallback" language I tried to phrase it in terms of state synchronization - since I am not sure if/where there is a spec defining fallback behavior for unsupported media element capabilities. It does not attempt to list which capabilities MUST or SHOULD be implemented by the remote playback device. See https://github.com/w3c/remote-playback/pull/94
