Maps for HTML Community Group presentation

Dear SDWIGers,

Thank you very much for bearing with me through technical difficulties during today's presentation!

As requested, for your reference, and for the information of those not on today's call, please find linked a presentation about Maps for HTML which I developed for FOSS4G in Boston last August.
https://www.w3.org/community/maps4html/files/2017/09/MAPS4HTML-FOSS4G-2017-Rushforth.pdf

I will be delivering today's presentation again at the Testbed 13 demonstration in Reston, VA. Dec 12th. I hope to see you there! Please introduce yourself if you're there, I would love to meet you.

We would be very interested in collaborating with OGC and W3C membership in pursuit of standardizing maps in HTML. What we've developed and presented today needn't be the 'final word', it should be a community process of agreement.

As mentioned by Chris during today's call, it is a subject with a lot to discuss. I would be happy to participate in the SDWIG and discuss it as required or to have a separate call if enough people are interested.

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Finally, I would like to invite you to join us in the Maps for HTML Community Group: https://www.w3.org/community/maps4html/ - we're stronger as a community if we work together.

Warm regards,
Peter
