This is very interesting. I guess you're referring to the approach described in 6.4 and 6.5 of the paper? It seems in some ways quite similar to SDshare.

Actually, it seems we could write this example up as another SDshare use case. From what I can see, the paper has enough information for me to write up a brief use case. I'll see if I can do that on Monday.
