Rather than having http://dev.w3.org/2006/webapi/WebIDL/#idl-exceptions I Web IDL should simply define DOMException including the constructor requested by Alex Russell and Marcos Cáceres before that. This will result in API designers pick either a standard JavaScript exception or a DOMException with a name. There's no need for any other kind of exceptions, inheritance of exceptions, etc. -- http://annevankesteren.nl/
