Checking in on Comics work

Hi folks,  It's been a while since I commented on anything on this list, but I am starting work in earnest on an API for the Grand Comics Database ( http://www.comics.org/ ), which will eventually (hopefully) lead to a rebuilt modern web UI.  I would love to make use of this group's work as part of that effort.
  I see that things are marked as "exploratory" and there is some sort of final review going on ( https://github.com/schemaorg/schemaorg/issues/699 )Is there a timeline for completing the review?  Is there any particular feedback that you are looking for, particularly with respect to comics?  I don't want to drag up a bunch of stuff that everyone else has already discussed thoroughly, or jump in at the last minute if the community is already happy with it and about to finalize.  But if it would be helpful for me to try to line this up with the GCD's current and planned approach and comment on how well it fits I would be interested in doing that.
